Long considered "The World's Greatest Comics Magazine", the Fantastic Four is the very first comic from Marvel Comics, and set the standard in comics for the next 40+ years in terms of how a superhero is supposed to act. Stan Lee's greatest creation almost didn't exist, if not for Lee's desire to create a story and characters that were "more realistic" than what was currently in comics during the 60's. The Fantastic Four is still a sales leader for Marvel today, and their recent feature film offerings prove itheir longevity and popularity. With characters that readers of all ages could easily identify with, the FF is one of the most recognized teams of characters not only within the Marvel Universe, but also within all comicdom.

Annual 26 is sealed in its original polybag with trading card of Wildstreak, the new Marvel superhero who makes her debut in this issue.

Issue 138 has two copies. One opened for reading, and one factory sealed with a special edition G.I. Joe trading card inside.

G.I. Joe is the most successful comics tie-in to a toy line ever, lasting for a total of 155 issues, despite the headaches of having to occasionally give into the demands of Hasbro who was producing the toys. Head writer Larry Hama, who scripted the majority of the issues is credited with much of the success of this title, due to his tight writing, excellent characteization, and realistic scripts, making the comic even more popular than the cartoon at times. Probably the most successful tie-in to any product, whether it be toys, TV or anything else.

Following the death of Banner's wife in a car accident, research scientist Banner is consumed with guilt over his inability to find the so-called "hidden strength" that all humans are capable of during extreme stress. Banner's guilt leads him to a research project involving unlocking the secrets of the hidden strength to try to duplicate it scientifically.

Banner and his research colleague, Dr. Elaina Marks, come to the conclusion that there must be an external force operating to make these people so strong, especially in light of the discovery that there is an abnormality in the DNA of all the test subjects, and Banner not only has the same abnormality, but in greater quantity than most of the other test subjects.

While charting a graph of the times the superhuman strength was exhibited, Banner hits upon the coincidence that there was high Gamma ray output during each feat of strength-- except his!

Playing on a hunch, he heads to the radiation lab to take a Gamma injection--and unwittingly takes far too much. Nothing seems wrong, but the first time he loses his temper, he transforms into a giant creature of incredible strength!

An accidental lab fire claims the life of Dr. Marks, and it is believed Dr. Banner as well! Banner's creature is believed responsible. Now, Banner is on the run, trying to find a cure for his uncontrollable tranformations!

Dr. David Banner faces his monstrous alter-ego...The Incredible Hulk! But not in the way you think...

This is an ORIGINAL full colour promotional photo featuring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno from the classic television show, The Incredible Hulk.

The Bixby-Ferrigno combo is considered to be THE definitive version of the character by many fans, and is used as a benchmark for all other portrayals of the character, to include the 2003 movie and the 2008 film (both films included a cameo appearance by Ferrigno).

This beautiful photo is a true collector's item, and features Bixby in arguably his most famous role facing Lou Ferrigno, in his Hulk makeup, the role "that made me a star", according to Ferrigno. We're sure most comics fans would agree! Extremely limited edition, as with one movie already out and another in the works, there is going to be more effort put into creating new merchandise, rather than worry about classic merchandise, and collectors are not likely to be selling anytime soon, based on the critical fan reception to the first film.

Photo is in beautiful condition and ships flat in clear plastic photo mailier and has a carboard backing board inserted to help retain its stiffness.

Original series stars Bill Bixby as David Banner reunites with Lou Ferrigno as The Incredible Hulk and Jack Colvin as National Register reporter Jack McGee in the first of three Made-For-TV movies. The first film guest stars Steve Levitt as Dr. Donald Blake and Eric Kramer as Thor.

It has been two years since Dr. David Banner has last changed into The Hulk. He continues to work on a permanant cure for his condition, heading a team of scientists in the construction of a powerful machine called the Gamma Transponder, which accelerates the decay of Gamma irradiated material.

While running an experiment to use the Transponder to rid himself of The Hulk, he is interrupted by a former student of his, Dr. Donald Blake. Blake himself has a problem. On an expedition to Norway, Blake found himself separated from the rest of his party, and attracted to a cave, where he found Mjolner, the mighty Uru hammer of Thor. Odin has linked Thor to Blake, so Thor may learn humility. Blake is unable to rid himself of the hammer, no matter how hard he tries, and enlists the help of Banner.

Summoning Thor, Banner changes into The Hulk. Armed with the knowledge of Banner's secret, Blake helps Banner to rebuild the damaged Transponder. However, a group of criminals realize the value of the Transponder as a powerful weapon, and set about to steal it and kidnap Banner, using his girlfriend as bait.

Now, Banner, as The Hulk, and The Mighty Thor team up to stop these criminals before they can get the Transponder.

Ferrigno was so excited to once again do the role that "made [his] career" that he bulked up an additional 40 pounds for this film, and it shows! The Hulk looks even more massive than before!
