Straight from the TV series, and formerly the newspaper strips from King Features Syndicate, Flash Gordon, The Phantom, Mandrake the Magician, and his bodyguard, Lothar team up to battle Gordon's oldest enemy, Ming the Merciless.

This time, however, they are joined by a new generation of heroes in the children of this quartet. Flash Gordon's son, Rick; The Phantom's daughter, Jedda (and her black panther, Kisa); Lothar's son, L.J.; and orphan ward of Mandrake, Kshin.
